If you have wildlife concerns in and around your home, we may be able to troubleshoot with you and offer solutions over the phone. We offer a 30-minute phone consult for folks looking for a quick offsite assessment of the home or business. We would be able to offer DIY tips and instructions for homeowners and businessowners to wildlife proof their space humanely. Our phone consults also give us the opportunity to work with folks who live outside of our service area (Chittenden County, Vermont) who are interested in learning about humane prevention and eviction.
If we cannot help you solve your issue over the phone, we will come to your home to consult with you. We offer a full home inspection, identifying current wildlife issues, and also finding areas where future wildlife could potentially take advantage of. Often, we can tell by looking at tracks and the area who is making their home in your home or business. We will then suggest what needs to be done. If you are a DIY type, we will coach you on what you need to do. If not, we will take care of the issue for you!
If wildlife has made their home in your home or business, we will help you humanely evict them! Depending on the situation and time of year, we may use nesting boxes and one-way doors, so the animal exits and then cannot get back in. We make sure everyone is out and secure the area, so a carpenter can safely repair the entry point.
We provide wildlife assessments of a property to identify vulnerable areas before an issue arises! (It's time and money well spent, when you consider the cost of dealing with a wildlife issue after the fact.) We also provide commercial property maintenance contracts, so we are on-call to handle wildlife issues that might arise.
A licensed wildlife rehabilitator, JoAnn is a great resource for organizations looking to educate staff, students or members on wildlife issues. She regularly speaks at Humane Societies, overnight and day camps, libraries, schools, and anywhere people are interested in wildlife! Use our Contact Form if you are interested in booking a talk!
